But once you get in the habit and realize the savings, it CAN become routine. A great source of good value coupons is the Sunday newspaper. They seem to be adding quite a few inserts to each paper. It only takes a few minutes to cut them out and easily save $5.00 on your next rtrip to the store. Give your unused coupons to a friend.

Flamingo Lagoon: Now Open at the Nashville Zoo

The Nashville Zoo’s newest exhibit is the Flamingo Lagoon, with a flock of 30 Caribbean flamingos. According to the Nashville Zoo, these are the largest and most brightly colored of the species. The exhibit is located between Critter Encounters and the Tapir exhibit. The exhibit opening was delayed due to the flood earlier this year in Nashville. The Caribbean flamingos are beautiful with their vibrant pink and orange feathers, and long legs and necks. Children love to view these magnificent animals. There are some shaded areas in which they can be viewed, so this makes it nice for the little ones and family members and friends when they visit. You can even take your own snacks and lunch into the zoo, or purchase food and beverages while there. You can as well take your own stroller or wagon, or rent a stroller. Busy Weekend

What a busy weekend this has been at the store! Several of the custom items which just went on display today are already sold! Our littlest model is wearing a crocheted ruffled edge hat with one of our fancy flower clips - both items custom made for Anna's. The hats come in several sizes and colors, and we have so many flower clips and hair bows which can be mixed and matched with these hats, other hats and headbands in the store. Another of our young models came to the store today, and her mom picked out some hair accessories for her too.

Yesterday was a busy day at Anna's Boutique, and many customers looked at our custom fall line of coordinated outfits and accessories. A lot of work was put into the design of these clothes to offer something unique to Anna's! They really liked the appliqued posie design which is the mainstay of this line. As well, they liked the mix and match pantaloons which can be added to the dresses when the temperatures cool off down the road. The colors are sage green, and shades of brown with a hint of blue. One of the more unique dresses is the apron knot dress for toddlers - with five posies and bloomers - yes, the bloomers have the cute posies as well to make them special. And the toddler boy jon-jons coordinate with the girls' clothing. They are completely lined, have snap crotched, and adorable brown pockets on the chest area which is perfect for monogramming. Many coordinated accessories are available to complete these outfits - including our custom crochet ruffled brim hats- which hair bows and flower clips can be added to them. Boy's brown crochet hats will be available too!

Many schools now have a required dress code for the students. We have hair accessories in white, navy, black, khaki, blue and other basic colors which fit the dress code. What fun it was to participate in the Taste of Ebenezer Festival today. The food was plentiful, tasty, and going fast. Kudos to the outdoor vendors who withstood the 100 degree temperature today. Our booth was inside, and our focal point was our hair accessories,tutus, pettiskirts; and baby layette - including our custom made burp towels. Our door prize drawing winner is J. Hurst. It was good to see old friends there - Julia Hickman had her beautiful lia sophia jewelry on display.
